Va Va Voom

This has been going through my head lately for no apparent reason, its a phase i liked when i was younger and yet i had no idea what it meant, so i got thinking about it, what is "Va Va Voom" to me?

First off i have to ignore the Renault TV commercial where footballer Thierry Henry is trying to sum up the meaning, commercials have never been a good basis for working out something thats in my head, ive only seen one of them anyway, so that leaves us with the new dictionary meaning.

The Concise Oxford English Dictionary describes it as

va-va-voom informal n. the quality of being exciting, vigorous, or sexually attractive. adj. sexually attractive: her va-va-voom figure. 

Ok the first part might have just hit it on the head, i might alter that though to "exciting, vigorous and sexually attractive", all three together or for me it just does not work, I'm also going to add that this is just for females, i cannot ever see a man being Va Va Voom or a car for that matter.

Now i have met many women who are exciting and vigorous but are not sexually attractive and vice versa, non of these women can be described as Va Va Voom. I can think of someone who for me was sexually attractive but had about as much Va Va Voom as a old sock down the back of the sofa, i can think also of others who where vigorous and exciting but as sexually attractive as a gutted fish, non of these woman are Va Va Voom (sorry girls). There is another aspect of Va Va Voom for me that is important, age matters, if you are younger than 25 you have no Va Va Voom, fact is you really need to live life to get that exciting part right, otherwise your just not exciting enough to stimulate me, hence you just don't have it.

So who has it? well ive not named names yet but i can think of a few, funnily enough one is French and had so much Va Va Voom it practically shone off her, If someone has it I want to keep in contact with them one way or another, cause i know that if a person has Va Va Voom its always going to be a friendship that has that little extra, something that keeps the heart going and the electricity in the brain firing, Va Va Voom is also dangerous to hang out with, you never know quite where you are with someone who is Va Va Voom, fact is they don't know themselves and each second with them is a adventure, they make up the special kind of friends.

Va Va Voom is the essence of what i look for in a woman, but it is hard to describe, they are sexually attractive, they excite me just when i hang out with them, they make me want to say "Va Va Voom" when they walk into a room, they capture me and hold me and they let me know they have, i don't always find it in someone i go out with but i have found it in friends, i think however i need to address that, so from now on who ever i date next, has to be Va Va Voom or i walk away.
