It’s good to talk

It’s been a hilly few weeks, by that I mean it has been up and down for me, it is not so much a bad thing as it develops character but at the start of collage I can only view it as a inconvenience. I think it came to ahead this week in a kind of over-lap of good stuff and bad things, the bad stuff this week are completely cash related and it will fix itself soon, so let’s not ponder on them let’s look at the positive.

First off college is going well, I really have a much better idea of what I'm doing this year, I'm also more focused on what goal’s I want for myself, it’s quite a enlightening experience to know what I want for once and not have my main decisions influence by outside personal matters.

Secondly, I had a great night on Wednesday, I met a old friend and we had a good chat and a good night, it was the first time in over a week that I had left college or home to meet anyone, i got some money that was owed to me for work I did a while back and I decided it was surplus cash plus I needed a drink. it was fun cause I like to catch up with people after you lose touch, I feel its important to surround yourself with good people and i have been concentrating on that a lot more lately, this time it was a bonus that we where able to meet up and head out, i have now promised her another night out soon.

Thirdly, I have missed someone lately, I had a row a few weeks back and i fell out with someone I'm close to, it should not have happened but there you go hindsight is a great thing, anyway I'm hoping that we can fix it, I really have missed her, and I know she has missed me to, so here is hoping we can get off our arses and meet for that coffee.

Fourthly and this was just tonight, I got on Skype with a dear friend and had a bloody good chat, it’s always good to talk to people, also when that person you talk to is a close friend and you can talk for ages it kind of feels like a huge load taken off your shoulders, not that we talked about any major issues, we did some but it was just good to talk, the important fact is this is a friendship that has carried on despite massive distances, we can still keep it healthy and plan stuff we want to do together in Europe and the States, really it’s a event in itself.

I must say that after a rough few weeks I can see a positive change happening, it’s all about outlook, if I remain positive about the first three for starters then I see good things happening and that is what I must focus on. The fourth?, well it’s not hard to be positive about someone who makes you smile and who you can spend two and a half hours talking to. Oh if anyone wonders over the next week why I might start giggling and texting after I say the words “You Betcha” it’s all her fault!

  1. Dude, you're hilarious. I asked my roomie if I said "You betcha" a lot after this post. He said, "No, just 'I 'spose.'" LOL!

I love your postitive attitude in this. Keep it up!
